The amusement and flippancy just make Alex chuckle, and she gave him a little shrug for a moment, before she shook her head. "I'm just that good," there's a slight bravado in it, but it's more of the joking sort than any serious sort of condensation. Alex has a few things that she's very good at and reading people is one of them. "Though," she confessed in a low tone, her voice light. "It's not very hard with new people here. I mean we all kind of have that dazed sort of look of 'where the hell am I?'"
