He knew exactly why she was doing it and he didn't plan on giving her the satisfaction of getting her way by his moving it. Apples weren't a big deal, and if he so desired, he could always just take her basket and leave her his empty one. It wasn't that hard after all. Instead, he added a few more to his basket.

"Eventually you'll tell me." He could wait, or he could just get the same information that she had gotten. It wasn't as if these people were tight-lipped or anything.
