Loki would be a liar if he said he enjoyed the get-togethers the Sphere demanded, which was exactly why he was here, meandering about the place and hoping to stumble upon someone, anyone at all, really, who might prove to be a relief to his boredom.

Luckily, a dejected man in a cream-colored trench coat happened across the God of Mischief's path. The trick was simple, of course. More than anything, there was something about this man that caught Loki's attention, and he wasn't precisely sure what.

A brief stint of invisibility, enough to put him into John's path, forcing the meandering man stumble directly into him just after he dropped the spell.
